Meet Mrs. Bean

Who doesn't like Mr. Bean? Well.... an image has surfaced of Mrs. Bean. I'm having a little trouble believing it though...

But hey! If you're a big fan, Amazon.com has  Mr. Bean: The Ultimate Collection. Included in this collector s set are all 14 episodes of the landmark original series that introduced Mr. Bean to an adoring, if confused, world, as well as his two feature films Mr. Bean: The Movie and Mr. Bean s Holiday. And if that s not enough, a bonus helping of Mr. Bean: The Animated Series....

Kindle books free for 24 – 48 hours

I've discovered from this website that there is a big list of free Kindle books released every Monday. Most are free only for a limited time (24-48 hrs) and don't show up on Amazon's Bestseller list (they might after being free). This is a tool authors use to promote their books and a great way to add some "great reads" to your electronic device or book reader.

There is quite a long list of them, but make sure if you click through to Amazon that the price is still free.

Chemotherapy: not the only answer

chemo-featuredChemotherapy has been credited with saving the lives of many cancer patients. All too often though, you hear of a somewhat limited success with the first round, but then other treatments have little effect, and the cancer continues to grow. It's been documented and there are plenty of article to be found online related to this discussion, like the article at "Natural news" titled Killer cancer treatment: How toxic chemotherapy kills both cancer cells and cancer patients.

Like many others, I have mixed feelings on it. On one hand it proves to be beneficial, but then again, if the treatment doesn't cure you, it could kill you. Today, I discovered a new article on the Yahoo website that explains how Chemotherapy can backfire and boost cancer growth. I urge you to have a look at it, so you can understand more about this "cure" too.

The shortened version of the article might be:

The scientists found that healthy cells damaged by chemotherapy secreted more of a protein called WNT16B which boosts cancer cell survival.

Chemotherapy isn't the only cure. I use the term "cure" loosely. If you're still alive five years after starting chemo, than the drug companies promoting it, and who compile statistics on its success rate, determine this is as being another successful cure. If you die the next day.... well you were considered cured. Isn't that a comforting thought? Of course Cancer is a 125 billion dollars per year gravy train for the medical industry, so they wouldn't want to see one of their most expensive treatment de-railed.

Another cure that is getting some recognition is Cesium Chloride. It isn't as well promoted as Chemotherapy, and usually by the time someone has found a doctor willing to use it, they have already been through all of the conventional treatments and have been sent home to die. So the successes they have had with this treatment can't be as accurately compiled, since they have already been poisoned before starting the treatments. But amazingly enough, those who did go through conventional treatments and were then deemed as hopeless had a whopping 50% chance of surviving after starting Cesium. I would take those odds, if there wasn't any hope left.

Watch the video below with Ken MacDermotRoe and Gus Cantavero as they discuss this and other treatments identified in a book Tanya Harter Pierce wrote called Outsmart Your Cancer.

This easy-to-read book details safe, alternative cancer treatments that are obtainable NOW. "Outsmart Your Cancer" presents the scientific basis for a variety of alternative approaches. A lot of this information about various treatments you can't get from your doctor. Many of them have been trained to work with one conventional treatment and they are naturally biased towards it. The onus is on you, to find out what is avialable.

Tanya says about her book:

" I only include treatment approaches in my book that have a significant track record of success, as well as a clear methodology and explanation of how they work. Many of these approaches have clear clinical evidence involving physician's records, and sometimes even laboratory evidence, showing their effectiveness.

For each treatment approach I describe, I also give information on how to obtain that particular treatment (phone numbers, addresses, websites, costs, etc.) "

Chemotherapy is only one treatment. And it's been proven to promote cancer growth now. It's toxic and it kills good cells as well as cancerous ones. Everyone need to understand this.

In an article published by ctvnews.ca today it says that Pfizer pays US $60M to settle allegations of bribing doctors. And it also says:

Industry experts say giving gifts and payments to doctors is not unusual for drug and medical device companies who operate in dozens of countries.

With Cancer being a $125 billion per year gravy train for the medical industry, do you ever wonder why some of these other cures aren't given a second look?

Get Out of Jury Duty

In a criminal justice system based on 12 individuals not smart enough to get out of jury duty, here is a jury to be proud of:

A defendant was on trial for murder.  There was strong evidence indicating guilt, but there  was no corpse.  In the defense's closing statement, the lawyer, knowing that his client would probably be convicted, resorted to a trick.

"Ladies and gentlemen of the jury,  I have a surprise for you all," the lawyer said as he looked at his watch.

"Within one minute, the person presumed dead in this case will walk in to this courtroom."  He looked toward the courtroom door.

The jurors, somewhat stunned, all looked on eagerly.

A minute passed.Nothing happened.

Finally the lawyer said, "Actually, I made up the previous statement. But you all looked on with anticipation. I, therefore, put it to you that you have a reasonable doubt in this case as to whether anyone was killed, and I insist that you return a verdict of not guilty.

The jury retired to deliberate.

A few minutes later, the jury returned and pronounced a verdict of guilty.

"But how?" inquired the lawyer. "You must have had some doubt; I saw all  of you stare at the door."

The jury foreman replied:  "Yes, we did look, But Your Client Didn't."

My web business needs to get a little busier. No, make that a lot busier!  You see, I'd like to buy a new cottage in Halifax, Nova Scotia. It's on the water too. Perfect for parties. Have a look at it:

I might need a few referrals, so if you can think of anyone who needs a little web work done, please send them my way :-)
