Antioxidant to ward off disease

Glutathione-featuredGlutathione is an antioxidant that our bodies produce to help ward off serious disease. If you're healthy, and eating well, it isn't something you need to worry about. You already have enough which provides you with a means of cellular detoxification. But if you're not health, or eating well, you likely have a deficiency which lowers your immune system.

Glutathione is not found in food but the following foods do help your body produce more Glutathione:

  • Asparagus
  • Broccoli
  • Garlic
  • Raw Eggs
  • Spinach
  • tomatoes

However, great care should be taken when considering raw eggs. Eggs can sometimes be contaminated with Salmonella, although it's very rare that this occurs.
