1000 Pages of Cannabis Research Links

1000-featuredA woman who was a teacher's aide in California started researching and collecting reports and links to scientific proof that the medicinal properties in medical marijuana could be used to treat a multitude of ailments and disease, including cancer. For the last few years she has been putting together lists to all the papers that are publically available for anyone to read. Her latest compilation has 1000 Pages of Cannabis Research Links.

This won't come as any surprise but she says, "Science is becoming aware of the almost unlimited potential of the endocannabinoid system for healing and the prevention of disease.

Yet, scientific research on cannabis is “discouraged” in the US, and, increasingly, I find that the new studies on cannabinoids are being done in Europe and China! We are falling behind in this rapidly emerging field of medicine!"

She also says on her website:

This prohibition foolishness has to end because it is costing people their lives, their health, their freedom and their peace of mind! I am hoping that my collection of studies and articles will help you educate those around you. We must end the ignorance!

The woman is known as Granny Storm Crow. She doesn't want her real identity known. But you certainly cannot doubt the authenticity of the links in her lists. You can learn a lot more on her facebook page that can be found here.

You can freely download her latest list of links from mediafire.com, but I want to caution you. This download site has some popups and other things it will try to prompt you to download. So you want to make sure you just download the zippered file called "Granny Storm Crow MMJ Reference List Jan 2013.zip". The download link is http://www.mediafire.com/?v3pqua6cqmup9zr

It's such a shame to read articles like Drug Company Pleads Guilty to Health Fraud that reveals how "pervasive pharmaceutical deceit infiltrates government, academia, and the media, causing consumers to pay outrageous prices for dangerous drugs that provide little or no benefit," and all the time, knowing... that helpful medical information and drugs are being suppressed and made illegal in most countries.

Marijuana Cures Cancer: David Triplett’s Story

david-story-featured

There is a lot of information being published these days about the medical uses for marijuana.  And when it is concentrated and formed into an oil -- thousands of people are claiming it is a cancer cure. Is it? I don't have first-hand knowledge whereby someone I know has used it to cure their cancer. But it's getting harder to dispute the idea from the amount of testimonials being produced in favor of its use.

I ran across a video today on YouTube produced by David Triplett. He says, "This is a documentary of how myself and others cured our cancers using an alternative and controversial treatment: cannabis oil. It's a proven fact that CBD and THC, two of many components in cannabis, shrink tumors and cure cancer. This documentary shows my cancer being cured and explores the history and politics of cannabis and cancer. You will also see samples of many antique cannabis medicine bottles."

I've been following Rick Simpson on Facebook for quite a while now. Every day I see new testimonials from people who have followed his advice about using cannabis oil to cure medical problems. Last week I saw one fellow post he had used it to help his COPD, which really isn't cancer related. Watch the video below to see how it cured David Triplett's skin cancer.

Now before you start pointing fingers saying "All you potheads...."

I don't smoke marijuana. Tried it when I was a teenager a few decades ago and didn't care for it. I just think we all need to be spreading the word that this drug has the ability to save lives, and it should be legalized for this reason. People who need to grow it to treat diseases or condition should be allowed to do so.

There has also been a couple of other articles posted on this site about medical marijuana. You can read them here:

The GMO Debacle

debacle-featuredIf you have just recently heard about the use of GMOs (Genetically Modified Organisms) being introduced to our food supply, here is some good information to help you quickly get acquainted with the issue. Charles G. Jefferson, author of The GMO Debacle, says it's a "great primer to start your journey on this fascinating and dangerous topic!"

I think this is a topic we all need to know about. It's being banned in many countries. You can find a list with descriptions on countries that are banning it, and countries that are embracing it here. Note: the link to www.examiner.com has some popups and an advertising video that starts to play with the page loads. Still, it's a good list. Since I live in Canada, I hate to see the technology being embraced here. It says:

Canada has widespread GM crop usage. Nearly all Canadian canola is GM, as is a large portion of the country's soy and corn. Prince Edward Island tried to pass a ban on GMO cultivation but failed, and GM crops in the region are currently increasing.

I've written about the problem in Canada before in another article on this site titled Our Groceries are Poisoned. The article contains a link to a pdf file published by Greenpeace that will give you a shoppers guide to help you avoid foods that contain GMOs.

The Kindle book version of The GMO Debacle is free for the next 24-48 hours as part of an Amazon promotion. I would get it today and have a look through it. It isn't very long, only 25 pages, but it will bring you up to speed on what's going into our food. As well, the video below is an excellent way to learn about this.

If you type GMO in the search bar at the top right hand side of this page, and then hit "enter" you will discover other articles on this site that mention GMOs.

War on Health by Gary Null

war-health-featuredGary Null is a radio talk show host an author on alternate medicine. He promotes a number of alternate cancer treatments and dietary supplements, but he is best known for a documentary video he created called the War on Health. In the video he takes some serious shots at the FDA, government, and established medical practices, including medicines and major pharmaceutical companies that determine which health care problems are publicised and researched.

He's received a lot of feedback on his views, and not all of it is good. Stephen Barrett, M.D. has an article on QuackWatch.org that claims his views on health and nutrition are at odds with the scientific consensus and have been described as "dubious at best". Still others, like Frania Shelley-Grielen who writes for the Examiner, claims Null "starts a necessary conservation but ultimately fails to illuminate and misses the forest for the trees." Basically meaning: she feels things have been left out of the documentary that should have been included. Here is the video:

The video is almost an hour long, so you may need to bookmark this page so you can some back to it later.

I leave it up to you, the reader/viewer to decide for yourself what you will choose to believe.

Hydrogen Peroxide Cures

h202-featuredDid you know you can use Hydrogen Peroxide to treat arthritis? Apparently you can use it to treat a number of ailments, including cancer and COPD. Funny, most of use people over fifty were used to seeing our mothers treat open wound with it when we were little, but I've been reading it as a lot more uses. A google search will return a lot of results, but one in particular you don't want to miss consists of a warning about taking it internally.  Then I ran across other articles about people using it to help with chronic sinutus. These people are using a mixture to spray up their noses.

My understanding is  there is a food-grade version of Hydrogen Peroxide you can buy that some people ingest, albeit carefully at first. You have to let your system build up to it. My recommendation would be to consult your doctor first to make sure you have the right type; there are several grade of it. Keep in mind that the FDA warns consumers not to drink high-strength grade that is used for medicinal purposes.

Hydrogen Peroxide Cures (Miracle Healers From The Kitchen) by Sharon Daniels details a lot of uses. She says she has used hydrogen peroxide to treat a range of conditions – everything from chronic fatigue immune disfunction syndrome (CFIDS), migraine headaches, multiple sclerosis and rheumatoid arthritis and more. Many people who have been troubled by lung disease (including bronchial asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and emphysema) have found their breathing easier and had their energy restored by a course of hydrogen peroxide treatments.

The Kindle version of the book is free for the next 24-48 hours as part of an Amazon promotion. It's a great eye-opener to see what all it's been used for, but the title may be a little miss-leading.  It doesn't include cures, as in recipes for people who might be inclined to mix their own concoctions. It just tells you what it has been used for in the past as cures for various ailments.  As always the onus is on you to do your due-diligence to research the options further and the consult with your physician before self-administrating anything that could have an adverse effect -- including death.
