Jon Stewart on the Monsanto Protection Act

Monsanto-featuredJohn Stewart takes the government to task for sneaking through the Monsanto Protection Act which was buried in a much larger bill and then passed as law, and believe  it or not, was added to the bill anonymously. You would think those submitting something like this should be held accountable, and he compares it to comments left on posts and articles on the Internet. Of course comments are not really anonymous. People can be tracked and pinned down from the IP address.

What this law does, is that it gives companies producing GMO seeds immunity from the federal courts. That's right. Get sick and die. They can't be sued. Have a good laugh at the video below. Let's hope it isn't your last laugh....

The Forgotten and Forbidden Cancer Cures

forebidden-cures-featuredThe rate at which people get cancer is alarming. In 1900,  1 out 20 people would get cancer.  By 1940, it was 1 out of 16 -- and over the years, more and more people are getting it until today, where there is 1 out of every 3 people developing cancer in some form or another. What's being done about it? Not much. And modern treatments aren't helping. Two out the three treatments, surgery, radiation and chemotherapy, are carcinogenic.

The video below is one of the best documentaries I've seen that will show you how the big pharmaceutical companies took control of the medical industry by teaching doctors to treat this disease with drugs, rather than nutrition. It will also show you several cancer cures that were discovered, but were suppressed by lawsuits, and having those who would actually help, labeled as quacks.

Some of the people who are mentioned in the video who successfully treated cancer have products that can be bought, and used to treat yourself or a loved one. But it's against the law for them to advertise them as cancer cures.  A prime example of this is the formula developed by Rene Caisse, who spent her life curing thousands of people who had cancer. The medicine she developed is called Essiac (which is her name spelled backwards) and you can find some of her products at Amazon. I did a search for you. If you click this link you can see different products made from her formula.

Although she used Essiac to treat thousands of people, the medical community's official statement was that her patients had been misdiagnosed with cancer by incompetent doctors.

In the video you will also hear the story of Max Gerson. He developed and alternative dietary therapy, which he claimed could cure cancer and most chronic, degenerative diseases. It was based on consuming certain raw vegetables and an alkaline diet. He documented patient recoveries, but they were never allowed to be published. At the same time, doctors were promoting Camel cigarettes. However, today there are some of his books on Amazon and one of them is titled A Cancer Therapy: Results of Fifty Cases and the Cure of Advanced Cancer by Diet Therapy.

You will also learn about Laetrile. It's a  chemically modified form of amygdalin, a naturally-occurring substance found mainly in the kernels of apricots, peaches, and almonds. Although officially banned, other products containing a similar formula in the form of vitamin B17 and called Amygdalin, can be found on Amazon.

You will also learn about Iscador, which is extracted from mistletoe, and used widely in Europe. Suzanne Somers endorses it as part of her recovery strategy from breast cancer. If, after watching the video, you decide you would like to try it, the only thing I could find close to it on Amazon is called Herb Pharm Mistletoe Extract, which they say is a Mistletoe Extract from fresh (undried) whole Viscum album plants.

There is a lot more to the movie than what I've mentioned in this post. It's just over an hour long. If you don't have time to watch it all now, you can always bookmark this post so you can easily find it later on.

I can't recommend you try any of these. I'm not a doctor so can't advise anyone. This post is just for your information. Alternate treatments should always be discussed with medical personnel, but again, doctors tend to be trained in drug remedies; they and the pharmaceutical companies won't make any money should you get well.

GMO Alfalfa may be poisonous

gmo-alfalfa-featuredIf you're over fifty, you have to be wondering about what kind of mess we are leaving to our children and grandchildren. Especially when it comes to GMO crops being grown. An article I read this morning on the CBC News website says, "no genetically modified alfalfa varieties are registered with the Canadian Food Inspection Agency" which would make one think we are safe from it, but Monsanto claims over 98 percent of the alfalfa crops are already non-organic.

This means there is a serious contamination issue. Unlike corn, alfalfa doesn't need to be planted every year. And there is evidence that supports dairy cows fed GMO crops have produced milk that contains the genetically modified DNA.

Watch the video below to learn more about this serious threat.

The Canadian Biotechnology Action Network released a new report this month titled "The Inevitability of Contamination from GM Alfalfa Release in Ontario: The case for preventing the introduction of Roundup Ready alfalfa". It links to a pdf file that is freely available to download, if you care to read it.

Recent testing on GMO corn with similar modified organisms was found to contain chlorides, formaldehyde, glyphosate, and other harmful chemicals, and they were identified to be in dangerously high levels.

It really makes one wonder, what the powers that be are thinking... You know, you read articles like "The Drug Company Pleads Guilty to Health Fraud" and drugs that could make us well, (read: 1000 Pages of Cannabis Research Links) it really makes you wonder whether they are trying to control our population, or feed money into the Health Care and Research industry. They are certainly keeping medication away from us that could do a lot of good by making it illegal.

Maybe it isn't any wonder why NASA has a mission to find other habitable planets. We have all but destroyed our own, and GMO Alfalfa is just another nail in our coffin. Maybe if we could move some of the population to another planet, we could quit making people sick on this one.

If you would like to read other article that mention GMO on this website, just type it into the search bar located at the top-right portion of this page and hit "enter" on your keyboard.

1000 Pages of Cannabis Research Links

1000-featuredA woman who was a teacher's aide in California started researching and collecting reports and links to scientific proof that the medicinal properties in medical marijuana could be used to treat a multitude of ailments and disease, including cancer. For the last few years she has been putting together lists to all the papers that are publically available for anyone to read. Her latest compilation has 1000 Pages of Cannabis Research Links.

This won't come as any surprise but she says, "Science is becoming aware of the almost unlimited potential of the endocannabinoid system for healing and the prevention of disease.

Yet, scientific research on cannabis is “discouraged” in the US, and, increasingly, I find that the new studies on cannabinoids are being done in Europe and China! We are falling behind in this rapidly emerging field of medicine!"

She also says on her website:

This prohibition foolishness has to end because it is costing people their lives, their health, their freedom and their peace of mind! I am hoping that my collection of studies and articles will help you educate those around you. We must end the ignorance!

The woman is known as Granny Storm Crow. She doesn't want her real identity known. But you certainly cannot doubt the authenticity of the links in her lists. You can learn a lot more on her facebook page that can be found here.

You can freely download her latest list of links from mediafire.com, but I want to caution you. This download site has some popups and other things it will try to prompt you to download. So you want to make sure you just download the zippered file called "Granny Storm Crow MMJ Reference List Jan 2013.zip". The download link is http://www.mediafire.com/?v3pqua6cqmup9zr

It's such a shame to read articles like Drug Company Pleads Guilty to Health Fraud that reveals how "pervasive pharmaceutical deceit infiltrates government, academia, and the media, causing consumers to pay outrageous prices for dangerous drugs that provide little or no benefit," and all the time, knowing... that helpful medical information and drugs are being suppressed and made illegal in most countries.

Dog Training in a Nutshell

dog-training-featuredOne of the things you might decide to do if you're over fifty and going solo, is to get a pet. Dogs are a good choice, and far more favored than cats. (The dog told me to say that). But you'll need to train it. There isn't anything worse than having someone come to your house and your dog is being unruly.

There is a book being offered for free for the next couple of days on Amazon titled Adult Dog Training in a Nutshell by Tim Carter.  Although not overly long, it covers numerous things I never thought of when training. He talks about becoming your dogs Accepted Pack Leader, and it never occurred to me that this was necessary. After reading his book, I can say it is.

One thing Tim mentions, that I would comment on, is:

"...body language, tone of voice etc communicates much more to our dog than we become aware."

This is very true. When I was a teen and our family got a new pup, I took the initiative to train her. But rather than using just voice commands, I used hand gestures too. For example, the command to lie down was done with a closed fist and motioning down. At first, I would put  the closed fist on the floor. And when she finally got the hint and laid down, the fist would open so she could access the treat hidden inside. Which became important later on. She was a cross between German Shepherd and Rottweiler, and she was quite protective of the home turf. When people she didn't know came to the house, the closed fist motioning down, would prompt her to lie down and not cause a fuss.

Tim's book doesn't include hand gestures, but as he mentions in the above quote, dogs can become very attuned to body language. I just took it a step farther. Then, I really didn't have any idea what I was doing. But if you're thinking of getting a dog, you might as well make sure you know how to train it, so click her to download Tim's book today, while it's free.
